I had lotsa fun meeting and photographing four legged friends and their humans on Valentine Day for the benefit of the Humane Society of Washington County Maryland.

The day included 21 mini-portrait sessions for pets and some of their people who generously and cheerfully contributed to the worthy cause. Here are a few of the images from the day.

And, I particularly want to thank all of the volunteers who helped make the event so smooth and enjoyable!

C'mon down and bring your pet! This Saturday, yes, Valentine Day I will be donating my time, talent and services to help out the Humane Society of Washington County Maryland. Recently featured on national, regional and local news for their work rescuing a puppy left frozen to the ground! For a small donation of $20 to the Humane Society (there's no law which is preventing larger donations) you will be helping them with the good work they do. Supporters of the Humane Society will be able to have a portrait created with their Fuzzy Valentine and will receive a complimentary gift size portrait. Call the Humane Society NOW to make your reservation for your 15 minute portrait session at 301-733-2060, ext. 237. It will be fun! Moreover, the good people at Port City Java are donating coupons so you can get something warm to drink after your portrait session, practically next door. And while only two legged carbon life forms and service dogs are actually allowed inside Port City Java, they will have free treats of the canine variety too.

Winter is the time of year for Black and White Portrait Studies at Heurich Photography

Heurich Photography is excited to introduce a special Black and White Portrait Study offer during the month February. The focus and design in these artistic sessions are specifically on the creation of striking black and white portraiture.

Our reservation fee is $350 which includes the normal fee of $150 for this type of portrait session. When you book one of these sessions before February 11th, the session fee is only $75 and the balance of your reservation fee will be applied towards your image investment and you will receive a complimentary electronic version of your favorite image for your use on your email, smart phone, web, facebook, etc..
